2023 Doesn’t Start Off Well for The Bloodline
The Bloodline stage a takeover of RAW on the 2 January episode; at least they tried to take over. The show started with Sami Zayn, The Usos, and Solo Sikoa stepping into the ring. Zayn said the Superstars on RAW were going to pay for Kevin Owens’ victory on SmackDown.
KO wasted no time confronting The Bloodline, but WWE authority figure Adam Pearce interrupted him. Pearce told The Bloodline he had enough of their antics two weeks ago. Pearce said it’s a new year and The Bloodline was going to leave peacefully. WWE security was not up to the task and The Bloodline dispatched them quickly.
KO charged the ring, attacking The Bloodline. Adam Pearce motioned for the RAW locker room and they swarmed the ring.
The Bloodline beat a hasty retreat but Adam Pearce told them their night wasn’t over. Pearce told them they weren’t going anywhere and promised that every one of them would wrestle tonight.
Backstage, Pearce met with the RAW locker room, all of whom seemed eager to get their hands on The Bloodline. Elias demanded a match with Solo Sikoa, telling Pearce he wanted payback for “The Enforcer” smashing a guitar over his head.
Pearce booked a Music City Street Fight since tonight’s RAW is in Nashville. Given Elias’ win/loss record, it should have been a Coffin Match as Elias’ future is now in doubt.
“Scrap Iron” Pearce booked a six-man tag match between The Usos and Sami Zayn and the team of The Street Profits and Kevin Owens.
