“I Am Done Saying I’m Sorry.”
Bill Goldberg is finished apologizing to Bret Hart. That’s coming straight from the WCW legend himself who made his feelings known during an appearance on the Talk is Jericho podcast.
Bill Goldberg is known for many things in wrestling but one thing he’s not proud of is accidentally ending the career of Bret “The Hitman” Hart.
Goldberg concussed “The Excellence of Execution” at 1999’s Starrcade after he delivered a kick to Hart’s head, putting Hart out of wrestling for good.
Since then, Hart has had a seeming love-hate relationship with Goldberg, at times forgiving him for the accident that ended his career and at other times, blasting “Dollar Bill” for putting a premature end to his career.
As noted by Ringside News’ Subhojeet Mukherjee, Hart has derided Goldberg’s workrate as “0/10.”
Goldberg seems to have had enough and during an interview with Chris Jericho, “Big Bad Bill” commented:
“Yeah, but I get it. I mean, I understand to a point. But I’m like yeah, 100%. Bret Hart is still up here, man. He’s an idol to anybody and everybody who would have ever been in this business. I’m a human being like everybody else. There was absolutely no malicious intent whatsoever. None. Zero. So does it bother me? Yeah. I’ll take it to my grave.”

Bill Goldberg Finished Apologizing to Bret Hart
The WWE Hall of Famer told Jericho:
“But also, I gotta say, man. I am kinda at a turning point. I am done saying I’m sorry. I have said it a million times. I am not gonna continue to tear myself down. I’m done. I said I’m sorry. If he can’t accept my apology, it is what it is. You gotta move on. And I’ve moved on. So I won’t be breaching this subject too much more.”
