An expected but nonetheless exciting event on RAW as Beth Phoenix saves Edge from a three-on-one beatdown at the hands of The Judgment Day.
There have been rumors that Beth Phoenix would eventually get involved in Edge’s war with The Judgment Day. This was all but confirmed when the WWE Hall of Famer was shown at ringside watching her husband’s main event match against “The Archer of Infamy.”
Edge wrestled Damien Priest, overcoming his former faction member with a Canadian Destroyer and a Spear.
The former leader of The Judgment Day was just getting warmed up however as he grabbed two steel chairs and went to deliver a Con-Chair-To to Priest.
Beth Phoenix Saves Edge: More to Come?
However, a low blow from Rhea Ripley stopped Edge and Finn Balor joined in on the attack. Edge was in no position to defend himself as Ripley, Priest, and Balor looked to end Edge’s career.
That wasn’t in the cards as Edge’s wife Beth Phoenix made the save, grabbing a steel chair and threatening to destroy anyone who got close to her husband.
The tense moment led to The Judgment Day backing off, leading to fans asking whether Beth will join her Hall of Fame husband’s efforts to destroy the group he created.
