He’s back!

Johnny Gargano is finally back in WWE.

According to a new report published by Fightful Select, Gargano’s name didn’t appear on any of the pre-show rundowns, and even much of the talent at hand “didn’t know” about his return. The report adds that nearly everyone found out about Gargano’s return minutes before he walked through the backstage area.

Fightful’s report added that there were never any “any advanced negotiations” between Gargano and AEW, and that the Impact promotion was never a serious contender.
