Interesting Theory that Sami Zayn Could Turn Babyface
Should fans expect a babyface turn on SmackDown? Wrestling News’ Paul Davis seems to think so based on a recent WWE video that chronicles Sami Zayn’s efforts to become a member of The Bloodline.
As ridiculous as the storyline seems on paper, the alway-entertaining (and annoying) Zayn has made it into an entertaining angle as fans wonder how much value the Usos can squeeze out of the apparently simple-minded Sami before tossing him to the curb.
Here’s what Davis thinks is going to happen:
It’s clear that a face turn for Zayn is coming and perhaps, he will be reunited with Owens soon to challenge The Usos for the Tag Team Titles.

This is an interesting theory and an Owens/Zayn team would make great opponents for The Usos. Jimmy and Jey have gone through every tag team on SmackDown and even some teams from RAW.
While some fans have grown tired of The Usos holding the tag team titles for so long, they have been working their best matches in their careers. There’s no sense in having a team defeat them for the Undisputed Tag Team Championship unless the team is a worthy successor.
Could a Babyface Turn on SmackDown Lead to One on RAW?
Zayn hasn’t worked as a babyface since early on in his main roster career, Zayn is so good as an annoying heel that it’s hard to think of him as a babyface. Nevertheless, Zayn has worked as a babyface and a team with BFF Kevin Owens could make all the difference in the turn working.
It’s self-evident the WWE is already making adjustments on RAW to deal with Cody Rhodes injury and expected six to nine month absence. Could a babyface turn on SmackDown lead to a babyface turn on RAW also with KO turning face?
