“Empress of Tomorrow’s” Title Win Sets Her Apart
Congratulations to “The Empress of Tomorrow” as Asuka makes history on RAW. In case you missed the Halloween edition of RAW, Alexa Bliss and Asuka defeated Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Asuka’s tag team championship breaks the record for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship held with different partners. You may recall Asuka previously held the belts with Kairi Sane (as The Kabuki Warriors) as well as Charlotte Flair.
Asuka Makes History on RAW
Asuka and Alexa Bliss returned after storyline injuries inflicted on them by Damage-CTRL. Both women were eager to get revenge and challenged the champions to a title match on RAW.
There was no holding Asuka and Bliss back, despite outside interference from Damage-CTRL’s Bayley.
Don’t expect the feud involving babyfaces Asuka, Alexa, and Bianca and heels Damage-CTRL to end in the near future. Some fans believe the feud could end up in a WarGames Match at Survivor Series.
Although we’ll have to wait and see where things go from here, Asuka has achieved a milestone. Congratulations to Asuka on her latest success.
