Andrade El Idolo Suffered Pectoral Tear Months Ago
Andrade El Idolo has had surgery for an injury he suffered in the ring. It’s unknown when Andrade will return but there is information on when the injury happened as well as a message from Andrade.
The current AEW star informed his fans via his Instagram account that:
“My first surgery I can’t believe it happened. A few months ago, I tore my pectoral muscle.Thanks god! I could and wanted to finish my match. I kept working because I love the business but we know that many people do not value your effort, these days off I took the opportunity to go to Dr.”

Wrestling News’ Angel Aramboles reported that
Andrade also included a clip from the 8/17 Dynamite with the Trios match featuring himself, Rush, and Dragon Lee against The Elite so that apparently is when the injury occurred.

Andrade Has Surgery for an Injury
It’s unknown why Andrade waited so long to have the surgery. Andrade has had a rough go of things in AEW as his fans have complained he has not been utilized properly. Depending on the severity of his injury, it could explain why he hasn’t been used more.
