Faction Signs Multi-Year Deal
Another astonishing acquisition as AEW signs The Kingdom to a multi-year deal. Fightful Select is reporting that The Kingdom (Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, and Maria Kanellis) are now All Elite.
As noted by Wrestling News’ Andrew Ravens, The Kingdom enjoyed a successful run in IMPACT after their time in Ring of Honor:
At the October 13th AEW Rampage taping, The Kingdom’s Mike Bennett, Matt Taven and Maria Kanellis made their AEW debut after finishing up with Impact Wrestling earlier this month at the post-Bound For Glory tapings, dropping the Impact World Tag Team Titles to Heath and Rhino.

Ravens noted that Kanellis has talked with AEW President Tony Khan about helping AEW’s women’s division. Ravens also pointed out that The Kingdom was not under contract when they debuted on Rampage.
AEW Signs The Kingdom
Analysis: There’s no denying that The Kingdom is a good addition to any promotion. It’s no surprise the WWE showed interest in signing Taven (and reportedly spoke with Bennett and Kanellis). The challenge is in finding room to book them.
While Adam Cole’s future in AEW remains unknown (the current talk is that he could return from his concussion any week now or that he may never wrestle again), Cole’s history with The Kingdom suggests a future reunion. Might Cole, Taven, and Bennett challenge for the Trios Championship?
