Oh dear…

This week on Dynamite, the Joker in the men’s Owen Hart tournament was revealed to be John Morrison. However, now Morrison is an AEW superstar, he will be known as Johnny Elite. 

Although fans were excited, this excitement soon turned to confusion, as the official AEW on TV Twitter account tweeted that Johnny Gargano was the one who was making his AEW debut. The tweet was quickly deleted, but a ton of fans who weren’t watching AEW Dynamite live quickly changed the channel to see the apparent debut of Gargano. 

This was a huge blunder, and has made fans question if Gargano is on his way to AEW. 

AEW’s newest star, Johnny Elite NOT Johnny Gargano lost his AEW debut in a match against Samoa Joe, so it’s unclear where he goes next from this huge loss. Johnny Elite is a fantastic talent, and AEW are lucky to have a seasoned veteran on their roster.
