Time for your 21 April SmackDown 2023 preview as the WWE presents two titanic title matches. Let’s take a look at what’s on tap for tonight’s edition of the blue brand.
Intercontinental Championship Match. Gunther (Champion) vs Xavier Woods:
Gunther is determined to beat some respect into Xavier Woods after The New Day member interrupted an Imperium meeting with some impromptu tuba playing. Now, Woods has a chance to capture championship gold just a week before the WWE Draft.
Women’s Tag Team Championship Match. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez (Champions) vs. Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green:
Sonya Deville has a knack for getting title opportunities but she has yet to turn one into a title win. Will her fortunes change tonight as she and Chelsea Green take on the recently crowned Women’s Tag Team Champions?
Braun Strowman and Ricochet vs The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) with Valhalla:
Can Braun and Ricochet get revenge for the backstage beatdown they suffered last week? What will it take for The Viking Raiders to learn not to mess with “The Monster Among Monsters” and “The Future of Flight?”
No Disqualification Match. Solo Sikoa vs Matt Riddle:
Riddle’s quest for revenge against Solo Sikoa didn’t work out the first time so now, wrestling’s “Ultimate Bro” is hoping a no-disqualification match will do the trick.
Santos Escobar and Rey Mysterio vs Finn Balor and Damien Priest:
The war between the Latino World Order and The Judgment Day continues with a tag match.
